The Dubuque Fine Arts Players will host auditions from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, July 1-2, at the Masonic Temple, 1155 Locust St., for the winning plays from the 42nd Annual National One-Act Playwriting Contest.

The plays will include “Dinner Theater,” by Alex Goldberg, of Burbank, Calif.; “Ring and Run,” by Elizabeth and Peter Surdo, of Erie, Pa.; and “There’s a Traffic Jam in the Ladies Room,” by Stephen Karp, of New York.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 12-14, at the Masonic Temple. Scripts are available at the reference desk of the Carnegie Stout Public Library, 360 W. 11th St.
