As members of the East Central Iowa Association of Realtors, we strongly support Pauline Chilton for Iowa state representative District 99.

Pauline has been a member of the East Central Iowa Association of Realtors for 13 years and is in a leadership role as a director on the board of directors.

She’s an excellent example of the consummate real estate professional: honest, hard-working and committed to our national association’s Code of Ethics.

She is an excellent communicator and listener who always puts her clients’ interests above her own. She has a strong desire to help people, evident in her success as a real estate agent and active involvement with many community organizations like the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Multicultural Family Center, Foundation for Dubuque Community Schools, Inclusive Dubuque, Dubuque Chamber of Commerce and Greater Dubuque Development Corp.

Her extensive real estate background and legislative experience will benefit area residents when she is working at the Capitol.

As a member of the association’s Legislative Committee, she was instrumental in getting the Iowa First-Time Home Buyer Savings Account passed into law. This program will help young Iowans achieve the American Dream of owning a home. She worked on cleaning up an outdated Iowa Real Estate Code to better reflect an ever-changing profession and continues to advocate for the protection and preservation of real property rights that can be enjoyed by every Iowan.

Bottom line: She gets things done.

Pauline Chilton understands that hard work, not rhetoric, is what we want and need.
