PATCH GROVE, Wis. — Authorities seek tips as they investigate a hit-and-run crash Monday night near Patch Grove.

Frinde Tolle, 75, of Patch Grove, was turning left into her driveway from Wisconsin 35 at about 5:55 p.m. Monday when a pickup truck struck the rear of Tolle’s vehicle, pushing it across the lane of travel into the grass on the east side of the roadway, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department.

A press release states that the truck left the scene at a high rate of speed. The truck was described as a white truck, possibly a Chevrolet, with white pipes in the cargo area extending beyond the tailgate.

The truck should have significant damage to the front driver’s side, according to the release.
