Police said two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Dubuque.

Vera L. Tippe, 72, and her passenger John C. Tippe, 68, both of Dubuque, were transported to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment, according to Dubuque police.

The crash occurred at about 10 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Third and North Booth streets. Police said a vehicle driven by Tyler M. Zurn, 24, of Dubuque, was traveling east on West Third when Vera Tippe failed to stop at a stop sign on North Booth and entered the intersection, causing the Zurn vehicle to strike her vehicle.

Vera Tippe was cited with failure to obey a stop or yield sign.
