PRESTON, Iowa — The City of Preston will hold its first of three planned Dinner and a Movie events today at Westside Park.

The free, family-friendly movie will begin at dusk and will be shown on a 20-foot-by-30-foot projection screen, according to a press release.

The event features free popcorn. A food stand will sell brats, hot dogs, butterfly chop sandwiches and other items beginning at 5 p.m.

Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets.

All proceeds will benefit continued upgrades of Preston parks.

A recently completed project added a lighted walking path at Westside Park.
