GALENA, Ill. — A Galena man will serve five years in prison after pleading guilty to a fifth charge of driving under the influence.

Terry D. Wedewer, 50, was sentenced this week in Jo Daviess County Circuit Court. He pleaded guilty to aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, a felony.

According to court documents, Wedewer was intoxicated when he was arrested Oct. 7. He has four previous convictions for drunk driving.

In addition to the five-year prison term, Wedewer must pay a $100 fine and serve two years of supervised release, authorities said.
