Bucks build big lead, hang on to beat Thunder 96-89

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 21 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists and the Milwaukee Bucks withstood Oklahoma City’s comeback attempt and to beat the Thunder, 96-89, on Friday night in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee never trailed but nearly allowed Oklahoma City to come all the way back from a 20-point deficit.

Bobby Portis had 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Bucks. Khris Middleton added 16 points, George Hill 12, Grayson Allen 11 and Jrue Holiday 10.

Warriors 105, Pistons 102 — At Detroit: Jordan Poole scored a season-high 32 points as Golden State won.

Nets 115, Magic 113 — At New York: James Harden had 36 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists, and Brooklyn rallied past Orlando.

Pelicans 94, Clippers 81 — At New Orleans: Jonas Valanciunas had 26 points and 13 rebounds as New Orleans rallied to beat Los Angeles.

Hornets 121, Pacers 118 — At Charlotte, N.C.: LaMelo Ball had a season-high 32 points as Charlotte won its fifth straight.
