Seth Moulton is a Democratic member of the U.S. House representing Massachusetts' 6th Congressional District. He won his congressional seat in 2014 after ousting longtime Democratic incumbent John F. Tierney.

Before serving in Congress, Moulton was a member of the United States Marine Corps, serving four tours in Iraq between 2003 and 2008, and made his military service a key part of his political brand. He has called for a new approach to foreign policy, national security and defense.

Moulton was one of the Democratic members of the U.S. House that voted against Nancy Pelosi's selection as Speaker of the House, and his campaigns have regularly called for new leadership both within the party and in Washington.
