CUBA CITY, Wis. — Inspired by a Facebook page called The Adventures of Dairy Carrie, Kristi Bellmann turned to social media about five years ago to advocate for owners of small farms.

“Educating people about what we’re doing and that we really are small farmers,” is important, said Bellmann, who owns an eight-acre farmette outside Cuba City. “This is not factory farming. This is just small farmers trying to do their best.”
