Thanksgiving is a time for citizens of the United States to reflect on the blessings given by our Creator.
Our Founding Fathers, even those without a strong belief in God, thought religious faith was an essential part of life.
This Thanksgiving, if you are religious, take the time to give God thanks for the freedoms that we enjoy and for the great gift of family and dear friends.
If you are not religious, take the time to be thankful in your own way for the miracle that is the United States of America, and regardless of our problems, we live in the greatest country the world has ever known.
Let’s pray for our future, a return to the moral principles and goals of the Constitution and Bill of Rights which are being thrown aside by so many politicians today.
History demonstrates that when America faced its darkest days, we worked together and fearlessly faced the future.
In the words of T.S. Eliot: “Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”
