The Mississippi River at Dubuque was crowded with large vessels Wednesday.
For a period, the traffic on the water included the Celebration Belle, a 750-passenger riverboat from Moline, Ill.; the Riverboat Twilight, from LeClaire, Iowa; the 166-passenger American Duchess; and the American Queen, dubbed "the largest steamboat ever built" by its Indiana owners.
The sight prompted many to head to the Port of Dubuque to snap photos of the vessels.
