Two local residents were appointed by Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds to state positions.
The governor this week appointed state residents to a variety of state boards, task forces and commissions.
This included Dubuque County resident Anderson Sainci, who was named to the Northeast Regional STEM Advisory Board. Sainci also serves as a board member for Dubuque Community Schools.
Another county resident, Jason Neises, was appointed to serve on a task force for the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative. Neises will serve on the task force that specifically looks at growth, according to the governor’s press release.
The governor’s appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.
