A state urban conservationist will speak as part of a fall seminar series at the University of Dubuque.

Paul Miller, urban conservationist with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, will discuss urban conservation practices and how they function on the land at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at the University Science Center, room 105, according to a press release.

The presentation, which is hosted by UD’s Department of Natural and Applied Sciences, is free and open to the public.

Miller leads the urban conservation program team that provides technical and educational assistance on storm water management and urban conservation practices throughout Iowa.
