Police reported arresting a second woman for her role in a large disturbance in September in Dubuque.
Desiree M. Hollis, 32, of 2367 Jackson St., was arrested at 1:12 p.m. Thursday at Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on a warrant charging participation in a riot. Denita L. Dixon, 33, of 2826 Jackson St., previously was arrested on the same charge.
Court documents state that Hollis, Dixon, two other adults and seven juveniles were involved in a large fight at about 2:45 p.m. Sept. 28 in the area of Merz Street and Windsor Avenue. Police said a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old, whose names have not been released, had met at that location to fight, and the others joined in.
During the fight, the 14-year-old threw a wrench, and Hollis used a stick, according to police. A vehicle was damaged during the altercation.
Police previously said charges were pending against the other adults involved in the fight.
