PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- A Grant County man recently pleaded guilty to several drug and weapons charges.

Jeremy L. Koppen, 42, of Preston pleaded guilty in Grant County Circuit Court to charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of narcotic drugs, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a short-barreled shotgun.

As part of a plea deal, dismissed were two counts of manufacturing meth with intent to deliver, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, two additional counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of receiving or concealing stolen property.

Koppen was arrested in June after Richland-Iowa-Grant Drug Task Force investigators executed a search warrant on a residence in Preston, located in Fennimore Township, and "located methamphetamine, heroin, firearms and stolen property within the residence," according to a previous press release.

Koppen's sentencing hearing is set for Jan. 19.
