Southbound traffic on a portion of the Northwest Arterial will be reduced to one lane starting Monday, March 20, as part of ongoing construction work.Â
Southbound traffic will be down to one lane between Plaza Drive and Payton Drive through April 3, according to a press release.Â
Additionally, the northbound inside left turn lane onto Asbury Road will be closed, though the outside left turn lane will remain open.

The closures relate to the reconstruction of a curbed median just south of the Northwest Arterial and Asbury Road intersection, the release states.Â
Crews also will start installing temporary traffic signals at the Northwest Arterial and Plaza Drive intersection on Monday, March 20.
The work is part of a $9.2 million, multi-phased project making improvements on the Northwest Arterial from U.S. 20 to John F. Kennedy Road.Â
