Police: Man wanted on warrants leads officers on chase in Dubuque

Court documents state that a Dubuque Police Department officer attempted to contact Presley at about 10:40 p.m. in the area of 15th and Main streets when Presley drove away at a high rate of speed.

The officer pursued Presley from Main Street to 17th and Bluff streets, west onto University Avenue and east onto Third Street and James Street before Presley pulled over in a parking lot in the 200 block of Mercy Drive, documents state.

Presley was taken into custody without further incident.

Court documents state that Presley did not return to the state correctional facility at 1494 Elm St. on Jan. 26.
