Police said a man cut another man with a machete in December in Dubuque.

Jonathan Luna, 27, of 9442 Noonan St., No. 308, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday at his residence on a warrant charging assault while displaying a weapon. Court documents state that Luna used a machete with a blade longer than five inches to cut Gerald Runde III, 29, no permanent address, Dec. 28 during a dispute at Luna’s residence.
